WHEN TOO MUCH IS TOO MUCH

This is not here because we are at this place in time. I want to make that clear. A friend of mine shared it and I love it. It says to me so much.

Please give it a read. This is a very personal topic and I feel this Doctor has nailed it.

That is a wonderful piece. Not a happy subject, but the truth is, if I'm ever in that situation, I don't want tubes and needles sticking in me, I don't want machines doing what is supposed to be natural. Thanks for sharing, it's interesting that it is written by a doctor.

I think Rain the fact that a emergency doctor wrote it is very meaningful. There are so many ways to look at this situation but I agree with him 100%. If you noted he has a book out. I believe I will get a copy.

He absolutely did nail it and it is something I've been aware of over the years. Having been a nurse a long time ago, I watched all too many people die when I know they just longed to go home and pass in peace. My grandfather was able to die at home, my grandmother made sure of it.

Honestly? I'm glad Dan and I can't afford to be in the modern medical system. I'm not saying it doesn't offer good solutions for people, but it's true that as a society we have somewhat lost our way when it comes to the realities of life and death. I just wish it offered more choice.
