Pictures Are Sometimes Better Than Words Well Maybe Just A Few.

More of this is in our future

With rain native grasses begin to return more rain would be wonderful. The world according to goats.

This is Jack it stinks to be in full molt and look like a flea bitten chicken.

Object of photo That white above the boat ? Mt. Shasta . Significance ? First time since
mid July when Carr Fire started and was followed by too many to mention that I have seen her while driving I5.

Fall is apple time.

Miss. Flame in front "Not the baby".

Front porch lovelies under cover during last rains.

Apparently someone got caught in the act.

Coming or going some days it is just a dog day.

Sherman says "What???! We are out of cookies???"

And this morning  native grasses abound under the leftovers from last summer and  the worlds largest gopher mound. Back 21.

Your chickens look happy and busy. Your dogs are beautiful! Is the white one a great pioneese? Sorry for the spelling. Shame on me! I'm having a senior moment. Take care!

Yes Lynne that is Sherman he is a Great Pyrenees. He is the seven year old part of the dynamic duo of Sherman and Yarrow . Yarrow is seven months younger than Sherman. No worries about the senior moment or misspell on the breed name. I do my share of the both. Come by again!

PS I am laughing as I had to delete this comment and redo as I left out a word or two ;-)

The pups sure appreciate their life with you. Apples are one of my favorite things about Fall.

It's nice to see non-smoky skies up your way! I LOVE Pyrs - love them! Don't tell my two couch potatoes. I keep trying to do the mind-meld with our continual rains to send them in your direction but, so far, no success. I have more than one chicken that is sashaying around with a bald butt, thanks to molting. Can't wait until it's over - the coop looks like the arena for a giant pillow fight!

Phil why thank you. I like to think the canine crew appreciates me for more then kibble and cookies. Wish you were closer I would bring over some apples since we came home with 60 pounds of them !

Love your quick wit. What no Valcun super powers? But thanks for the effort. We look to get some next week and possibly a good amount. I love my Pyrs also. And just don't let those CP's too close least they catch a scent of "another dog". Here too on the molt. We actually had a good old fashion seasonal molt this autumn. That hasn't happened since global warming started or what ever one wants to call it.

It's wonderful to see clear blue sky out your way! Now for the rain to green things up a bit. :)

Crossed hooves and fingers for more rain this coming week Leigh. We shall see how much when it gets closer. Rain in California is becoming like visiting relatives "believe it when you see it."
