The Road Home Past The Neighbors Ranch
The Ranch across the street is on both Ash Creek and Wildcat Roads. This is looking down Wildcat from the Butte above us . I took a "lookie lou " tour coming home from the veterinary in Shingletown that is about 3200 feet about 15 minutes from our place. Love my vet! Enjoy the photos.

What a beautiful place to live! I love those rock walls.
It is! I love the walls also it is the Holiday Ranch trademark. The newer walls were done by current owner but there are walls further back on the ranch that were constructed by Chinese immigrants that came over in the 1800's during the California gold rush.
Forgive the quality but blogger and I had a shot out over where I wanted tags and photos to go. Apparently they won and I gave up after multiple tries sigh.
Love the pic of the horses behind the stone wall. Looks like your country must have 'bout as many rocks as we do up here in northern Minnesota!
Hubby and I were out yesterday walking around the yard and gardens where the snow has melted and he commented that, as usual, our garden plots grew a whole bunch of new rocks over winter. How does that happen? Sigh.
